Information

After data quality and algorithm quality there is a third essential element for AI to be successful: the right IT architecture. Today’s AI offer is almost entirely based on SaaS models, but as the market reaches maturity this is likely going to evolve into more nuanced approaches. Customers will require a higher level of control over key applications and solutions, and suppliers will need to carefully watch cost structures. This may well result in hybrid cloud or even on-premises installations depending on the singles cases, as the cloud’s obvious scalability and flexibility advantages are contrasted with opacity data ownership rights and knowledge cannibalization risks on the part of the providers. We will discuss this with IT architecture strategists as well and legal and data privacy experts.
