Georgie Courtois focuses on all aspects of NTIC (computer law, internet-related matters, data protection, cryptology…), intellectual property (copyright, trademark and domain name infringement) and commercial law.He represents clients in complex litigation before civil, commercial and criminal courts and before supervisory authorities.He also assists clients with consultation, contractual drafting and negotiation.Georgie is passionate about technology. This special understanding of tech issues allowed him to develop a special knowledge in the field of technological innovation (Artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, BlockChain, Big Data, 3D Printing, Robots, Drones) and an expertise in software anti-piracy and cyber criminality.He has also developed a practice in media law, notably in press law and audiovisual law (TV, sport).He teaches litigation practice in Intellectual Property at the Faculté Jean Monnet (Paris Saclay University) to students pursuing the Master’s degree PIDN on Intellectual Property & Digital Law and intervenes in new technologies law in the specialized Master DAIM (International business law and management) at ESSEC Business School.He is founding member of the #HubFranceIA, french association on Artificial Intelligence, leading the group on law and regulation and also member of the Technology Law Section of the International Bar Association (IBA).
