With over 25 years of experience in the high-tech industry, Mansour KARAM is a seasoned entrepreneur, executive, and investor who is passionate about building products that make a difference in people's lives. Mansour has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and dozens of patents in networking technologies. He co-invented intent-based networking and has extensive expertise in software development, data center networking and is proficient at AI. Currently, Mansour KARAM is the GVP Products, Data Center at Juniper Networks, where he leads the data center products portfolio, including Apstra, the intent-based, AI-driven, and app-aware software co-founded by him in 2014. Apstra was acquired by Juniper in 2021, and Mansour continues to drive its vision and strategy to transform network operations for our customers. Prior to Apstra, he was an early employee and the first business leader for Arista Networks, where he helped company's initial product launch and achieved a successful IPO in 2014. He also served as an executive at Big Switch, an SDN pioneer, where he helped to shape the company's product, business model, and partnership strategy. In addition to his operational roles, he is an active seed investor in several promising startups, such as Vectara and Beehive AI, that leverage AI and machine learning to solve real-world problems.
